I think HBD being stable is valid, and I think it would be nice to see it as a stablecoin everyone could use. I still like HBD with the APR, and I didn't think the APR would last forever. I don't know if it should be propped up forever though. If it was a true stablecoin, there would be people managing what the stablizer is doing because there is money to be made off the arbitrage. I still add to my HBD savings with what I earn off Hive though.

It's exactly like this. We've been seeing an increase in market prices for the past few days, so it's a matter of great joy for all of us. The more Bitcoin domains come down in dominance, the more it benefits all of us.
I'd agree, I believe HBD eventually dilutes the value of Hive.
