I know, I know... It's not Christmas Eve yet. And probably most people reading this post have long gave up on the concept of Santa, perhaps keeping it alive for their children if they are at that age...
But if it's a gift, and if it's close to Christmas time, then let's bring Santa into the discussion, since we don't have better things to do, lol.
So, what did Santa K. bring us on Hive? Notice how I said K.? It wasn't a misspelling of Claus, although Germans would be fine with the Klaus spelling.
Yep, our Santa is more... oriental this year, and his name starts with K and ends with "oreans". 😄
A "green candle chart with a huge wick" from the AI... 😀
And he brought us a pump of over 60% for HIVE at the top today. Now, what we do with this gift, it's up to each of us.
Some are happy that their Hive bags look a lot fatter in only a few hours. Others took their chance to make some trades based on probable recurrence of a known pattern. I am almost certain there are also some who didn't even notice yet.
I'm in the "traders" category for this one. And if HIVE would have gone a little higher I have more sell orders lined up to be swallowed by the hungry buyers. I don't think we'll get there anymore, but I'd rather keep them until tomorrow than sell at this price. You never know... I already sold enough and am getting ready to buy HIVE back once we deflate to a reasonable level.
Whether it goes down or not, I'm fine with it, since if it does, my trading would have made a decent profit, if it doesn't, the majority of my HIVE is staked and went up (still by around 40% as I write this).
So... from my point of view... thanks Santa K.!

It often seems to be the Koreans who drive these pumps. It's good if it gets Hive some attention and if it can settle a little higher each time. I'm still not selling yet.
Well, let's see how this one goes in a few more days. I'd prefer to see it higher at the end, but we also have a long history of P&D, either intra-day or in a couple of days (more often during the bull market).
I like these pumps as they bring HIVE into the spotlight and also keep up the action on Binance in order to keep us listed for a long time. I am not a trader, don't usually keep liquid Hive so I am not taking benefit of such opportunities. But I can surely appreciate them and wish to see more of them. 😉
Good points, that it matters for the trading volume on exchanges and having a huge intra-day spike puts us on the radar of more people in the crypto space.
I started to have more liquidity as I am getting ready for 2025. A little early, but seems I wasn't wrong to have some liquidity early.
That's some of the best organic marketing we can have. We'd be noticed more if we're back in front page. That's 1B for now. So....... 6x from current prices. At least we're doing nice within SocialFi niche.
I agree, that's a great marketing, especially in the crypto market, so interested in pumping coins.

Hehe it's up down up down up down.. Lol! Not a bad thing to trade when it's so predictable. Haha.
Yeah, there are some opportunities in the bull market, even more than in the bear. But every opportunity has a cost.
It's more about positives vibes, but somehow this pump doesn't show doesn't standard Korean pump MO. I tried timing the pumps and didn't get it right
Yeah, the last one before this one wasn't "standard" either. But it eventually deflated, and following the FUD last week, we went much lower.
Well, let's see how it does. With BTC at 95k I reckon we might be going down to the 28 cents Hive range again

We shall see where Hive goes, I was waiting for the bottom and it surged overnight before I bought back in. Right now I'm in a holding pattern, not sure where it's going from here! It is nice to see a fatter wallet though for sure!
I'd be curious where this lands in a couple of days... Right now we are still under the influence of having been in the spotlight yesterday for massive gains on volume.
I was just pleased the price was low when I had some money to spend.
That's always nice! I also bought more HIVE last week.
I wasn't around for it, but it looks like the pump didn't last long. I guess those Koreans really know how to pump up prices.
I'd wait for a couple more days (at most) for the full conclusion of this move. Right now there is a lot of effervescence thanks to our huge spike from yesterday and we've been noticed by people who otherwise wouldn't have been interested in HIVE. But we know that interest fades away very quickly for the next pumping coin.
