I think the world has always been like that. But in this diverse world, there are people who are motivated by curiosity, interested about the greater good, and to help others.
But in general, life happens, and it is more of a modern survival game.
Is capitalism a great economic system? Probably not, but other systems have been tried, and in practice I don't know any that has performed well on a large scale...

It's definitely not... and CURRENT other systems are similar, better for some, or worse... But, again... why not do the mix? create a new system? All current systems are "invented" at some time, so why wouldn't we invent something new? 🙂
EDIT: I have just realized that we are actually doing it at this very moment, experimenting with blockchain and crypto... It's happening!!! 🙂
Yep, we have an opportunity to try new things. Let's hope we have the chance before we transform into another copy of the world we live in, in the digital form.
