On LPUD, a Post Focused on the Recent Ventures of the Inleo Team
LEO PowerUp Day is the equivalent of the same event for Hive Power which takes place every 15th of the month instead of the 1st, and involves powering up LEO. You can check it out here.

But that's not what I want to focus on in this post. I wanted to write about one of the recent ventures of the Inleo Team.
Well, after not being able to pass their DHF proposals repeatedly, the team shifted their focus to LeoDex, which is... not Hive-based, but it is linked to Hive through the team behind it and the listings of a few Hive tokens (if Hive Heychain was re-enabled in the v3 version of LeoDex).
People involved with Thorchain know of their recent launch of the TCY token, which is meant to pay back holders of assets in the ThorFi platform which defaulted at the beginning of the year. TCY is funded by 10% of the fees collected in the Thorchain ecosystem, and they do collect (still) an impressive amount of fees.
As a result of that launch and the general crypto uptrend, RUNE, the main coin of the ecosystem, pretty much doubled in price recently. Unfortunately, I no longer have much RUNE (or any TCY), but I'm happy for those who held.
Where am I going with this?
Well... when TCY was launched, no established interface supported it fully, from my understanding.
Guess which one was first? And bug-free, apparently. Yep, it was LeoDex.
Not ThorSwap, not Ascardex or whatever other big Thorchain interface.
As a result, LeoDex attracted a lot of volume, and many praises from important people in that ecosystem. The official Thorchain X account published this tweet storm which I remarked some time ago:

It's interesting to see how the focus has shifted more to LeoDex after the DHF proposal failed. I can't blame them, but the developments there did help out RUNE connect with other chains.
RUNE was already well-connected (maybe with Rango and what they support? I'm not sure other Thorchain interfaces support it). What LeoDex did very well was to support this new token TCY in all its aspects really early.
Interesting insights about LeoDex getting ahead of the curve with TCY support! Always impressive to see smaller platforms outmaneuver the big players. The Thorchain team's recognition is a nice bonus too.
Your post makes me wonder what other hidden gems LeoDex might support before competitors catch on. The crypto space moves fast, but it seems the Inleo team moves faster.
Thanks for sharing these developments - it's great to see Hive-connected projects making waves beyond our ecosystem. Maybe next time I'll catch the RUNE pump too!
They seem to have added a dashboard for TCY too and want to include a PnL section soon. They will then extend the dashboard to other projects beyond TCY. I just listened to Khal's recording with Taskmaster on the subjected from about a week ago (also the Inleo AMA too from yesterday).

If the leodex isn't much into hive... How i can benefit us? It pumped that other token but no value for hive
LeoDex didn't pump RUNE. It benefited of the developments on the Thorchain blockchain, like any other chain it is connected to. It will benefit of the development on any connected chain. It is an interface, like PeakD, Ecency, or Inleo are on Hive. Except it is a cross-blockchain interface specific for the defi space.
Not everything is about Hive! Sometimes you (in this case the Inleo team) need to get out and make connections, so that when you need them you can use them for the mutual benefits.
I have to admit that I didn't follow the recent development around the LEO team, but it looks like despite their DHF proposal not being supported, they continued development...
Sometimes, being rejected gives additional motivation to continue building... IMO, that's even better! Creating a self-sustainable business is much better than depending on someone else... We need more profitable businesses on HIVE!

I didn't fully follow their recent endeavors either given that my attention was pulled away from Hive for a few days and when I was around, Hive games (and their economy) filled a significant portion of my time lately.
But Inleo deserves our attention and yes, they are like that: when they hit a wall in one direction, they go in another direction and keep developing. LeoDex is starting to developing into a nice interface... with a dashboard, affiliate rewards, and other things to come.
