My Hive Goals (Week 47, 2024)

This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.

I include a link to the initial goal-setting post for 2024, for reference, if needed.

HBD in Savings at the Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD

This multi-year goal morphed from what previously was the 52-week HBD Savings challenge, which was stopped (after week 33).

This is a longer term goal and I don't expect regular pushes toward the target, but rather no or low activity for most of the time, and bursts of HBD added in short time spans later on, toward the end of the bull market.

We had another Korean pump yesterday. I missed most of it, but was still able to make a little profit. Be careful if you play them, when there is an upward trend for Hive, they don't retrace to the same level from where they started, which is a GOOD thing for Hive.

I again used half of my HBD author rewards to continue repaying my loan from my HBD in savings, but this time I used the other half to push for my goal that is at the limit: SPS stake. It also has, like Hive, a good upward potential price-wise for the rest of the bull market, compared to HBD.

HIVE Purchased Below 20c - Completed

This was a temporary goal, HIVE-oriented:

• Buy at least 50 HIVE every week while the price of HIVE is below 20 cents

Final situation of HIVE purchases during this temporary goal:

Total HIVE Purchased: 705.731 (not updated with purchases after the goal was considered completed)

Posting & Commenting Goal

I haven't missed a daily post this year yet. Reached 1984 posts published, with 21 left to hit the target in 2024. That puts the progress at 94% where 90.38% was needed to be in the green.

Here's the situation so far:

I haven't missed any edition of Week through Adrian's Lenses in 2024 either, and I mention this since it's also part of my posting goal. Overall, I reached the 98th edition of the weekly roundup which debuted at the beginning of 2023.

I also started the week with 20,897 comments made. Ended the week with 20955 which means I made 58 comments last week.

LEO Staked - Completed

Goal of 25000 staked LEO achieved in week 42 (started from the beginning of the year).

Just wanted to remark a nice pump in the price of LEO on the way... Maybe the new communities they are bringing are buying in. And they may be buying HIVE too, directly or indirectly.

Here's the final situation (not updated with new power ups until the year end):

I will continue to participate on LPUDs monthly with 150 LEOs, even though my goal for 2024 has been achieved.

Splinterlands: 200k Staked SPS

Goal started in week 39 with roughly 180k SPS (before staking liquid SPS).

I started last week with 192,000 SPSP and finished it with 193,339 SPSP, which means I added 1,339 SPSP last week and today.

I need an average of roughly 1,333 SPS weekly to complete this goal in 2024, which means this week was average.

Here's the situation so far:

Splinterlands: Increase Grain PP to 400,000 - Completed

Goal started in week 19 and competed in week 39.

Which is the final status for this target?

Final grain production was 411,721 PP.

The major bottleneck for me here is and has always been for land staked DEC.

Land Plots Unlocked - Completed

Goal completed in Week 18, with the following situation at the time:

73 plots were productive and 27 were still under construction.

All plots are productive as of week 35. Now I need way more DEC to stake better PP cards on my lower-end land plots.

ZING Multiplier - Completed

Goal completed in week 10 with 25,203 ZING.

Since then, I slowly grew my stash from staking and collection rewards (achievements) only.

My ZING holdings are now at 50,864.
