My Hive Goals (Week 44, 2024)
This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.

HBD in Savings at the Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD
This multi-year goal morphed from what previously was the 52-week HBD Savings challenge, which was stopped (after week 33).
This is a longer term goal and I don't expect regular pushes toward the target, but rather no or low activity for most of the time, and bursts of HBD added in short time spans later on, toward the end of the bull market.
Two things happened since last week:
- interest payment of almost 7 HBD
- continued repaying my HBD drawdown from savings (to buy additional Holozing vials) with liquid author rewards
HIVE Purchased Below 20c - Completed
This was a temporary goal, HIVE-oriented:
- Buy at least 50 HIVE every week while the price of HIVE is below 20 cents
Final situation of HIVE purchases during this temporary goal:
Total HIVE Purchased: 705.731
Posting & Commenting Goal
I haven't missed a daily post this year yet. Reached 1963 posts published, with 42 left to hit the target in 2024. That puts the progress at 88% where 84.62% was needed to be in the green.
Here's the situation so far:
I haven't missed any edition of Week through Adrian's Lenses in 2024 either, and I mention this since it's also part of my posting goal. Overall, I reached the 95th edition of the weekly roundup which debuted at the beginning of 2023.
I also started the week with 20,678 comments made. Ended the week with 20756 which means I made 78 comments last week.
LEO Staked - Completed
Goal of 25000 staked LEO achieved on week 42 (started from the beginning of the year).
Here's the final situation:
I will continue to participate on LPUDs monthly with 150 LEOs, even though my goal for 2024 has been achieved.
Splinterlands: 200k Staked SPS
Goal started in week 39 with roughly 180k SPS (before staking liquid SPS).
I started last week with 187,332 SPSP and finished it with 188,588 SPSP, which means I added 1,256 SPSP last week and today.
I need an average of roughly 1,427 SPS weekly to complete this goal in 2024, which means this week was below average.
Here's the situation so far:
Splinterlands: Increase Grain PP to 400,000 - Completed
Goal started in week 19 and competed in week 39.
Which is the final status for this target?
Final grain production was 411,721 PP.
The major bottleneck for me here is and has always been for land staked DEC.
Land Plots Unlocked - Completed
Goal completed in Week 18, with the following situation at the time:
73 plots were productive and 27 were still under construction.
All plots are productive as of week 35. Now I need way more DEC to stake better PP cards on my lower-end land plots.
ZING Multiplier - Completed
Goal completed in week 10 with 25,203 ZING.
Since then, I slowly grew my stash from staking and collection rewards (achievements) only.
I purchased two more alpha vials last week and now hold 7 of them, and that's where I'll probably stop until healers will be sold.
My ZING holdings are now at 37,824.

Great progress. I noticed that Hive dipped. Are you planning to get more during the dip or do you consider that completed?
I thought about it... But HBD wasn't at peg either, so I decided to just repay my HBD withdrawal this week. Next week may be different.
You're doing alright with your goals so far and you're so close to getting all of them achieved. I'm sure the ones you've completed make you feel proud. I must say 700+ hive purchased so far is a huge one. Just continue, you are close to the finish line, it's just a couple of weeks till the year ends. It's good you are staying accountable to the hive community, so to speak, by publishing about your progress.
I guess accomplishing Hive goals makes me celebrate the progress achieved over time of consistent activity. Smaller or bigger, all goals are important, and even progress toward them without achieving them compounds over time.
12k SPS to go, so far if you get 6k each for November and December then you'll be at 200k by the end of the year.
Once again BTC has taken us back with those electionsl dips.
Yes. Still on the edge, but achievable, I believe.
Well, luckily, the electoral part will soon be over, one way or another. Maybe afterwards, crypto will continue on its path...
