My Hive Goals (Week 14, 2025)

This is a short sum-up table with the state of my goals in easier TLDR form. The table has only a general overview, with details expanded in the post.

HBD in Savings at the Bull Market End Goal: 5,000 HBD

This is a goal inherited from last year, but mostly intended for this year.

What a day! Is this the last scare before we go up, or we are up for more pain this year? Hard to say... The "bull year" cycle would say this should be the last scare before we go up. The tariffs and counter-tariffs, currency price swings, oil prices, etc. say things may not be over yet... Hard to say exactly what will happen next...

What is clear is that on the crypto side at least we already bounced pretty hard from the expected support at the 74k for BTC. But nothing is clear even when it seems so, because tomorrow is another day, and this could be just another "dead cat bouncing".

Either way... I decided to play optimistic this week, and buy HIVE with all my HBD from author rewards. I did that when things were the bloodiest, so I'm a bit up with that purchase. But my uncertainty about the future remains.

However, I kept piling a lot of liquid HIVE that were siting doing nothing. We haven't really had many opportunities to make a profit trading them in a rather sure way, since the beginning of the year, so I decided to reduce the level of my liquid HIVE for the time being (it wasn't even worth it to move it to Hive-Engine). So I powered it up, maybe too late for that decision, but I did it anyway. I still have over 5k HIVE liquid on the base layer either sitting around or in sell orders if we have new pumps (with the intent to buy back lower), but I powered up 4k HIVE this morning... Probably I will power down this HIVE again in Q3 if we'll still have any kind of recovery in the market, but in the meantime at least I can use it.

Therefore, I haven't added anything to HBD savings this week.

Social Goals

Here are my social goals in 2025:

• posting: at least 350 posts (max 1 per day) in 2025
• commenting: an average of 81.25 comments per week (11.6 per day); this is at the beginning of the year, the average needed will change throughout the year;
• publishing Week through Adrian's Lenses every week of 2025 (hopefully, maybe I can have 1 exception, under special circumstances)

Here's the current situation:

I have posted every day since the beginning of this year. Currently at 27.92% with 26.92% needed to be in the green.

I also started the week with 22,482 comments made. Ended the week with 22563 which means I made 81 comments last week, which is much higher than the average needed. I currently need an average of 79 comments weekly to reach my target by the year end.

I published "Week through Adrian's Lenses" news roundup every week this year. Now at the 117th edition.

Golem Overlord - Prestige 30

Started with prestige 20 (and XP 10,544) in week 2.

Here's the current situation:

Current Prestige level: 23 (+1)

Needed XP to level up to Prestige 24: 53,641

Remaining XP to Prestige 23: 37,435

Days to Prestige 24: ~30

When upgrading to next prestige level, 75% of my XP will be cut, and I'll start over the climb from there.

Started the week 44,812 XP, ended it with 16,206 XP. That's 8,049 XP gained last week. I still need 37,435 XP to level up to Prestige 24. That's around 30 days, if nothing changes in my pace of converting reputation to XP.

From week 8 I began tracking my Faith level, since starting from 600+ level, it gives a bonus to maximum rep conversion (0.5% per level).

Last week's Faith level: 358.

Current Faith level: 371.

To have have Faith at level 600 at the beginning of Q4 (13 weeks before the year end), I need an average of 9.16 Faith level upgrades per week. This week I leveled up Faith by 13, which is way over the needed average (which either reduces the time by when I'll hit my target or allows me to miss in certain periods).

This may be a too tougher goal for 2025, but we'll see. Worse case scenario, I'll extend it in 2026. But I'd like to see it completed in 2025. Let's see what I can do about it.

ZING Accumulation Target: 200k

For anyone who doesn't know, ZING is the token of the Holozing game (currently, it has no publicly released gameplay).

Slow and steady. Everything fine for now.

Here's the current situation:

Started the week with 102,956 ZING and finished it with 105,487, so a nice round number here was passed this week. Made 2,531 ZING this week, and I need an average of 2,488 ZING weekly to achieve this goal. So far this seems reachable, but we'll see how it evolves.
