Goals

It's always good to set yourself goals, so you have something you can work towards. That is why I joined the #saturdaysavers initiative by @eddie-earner and @shanibeer this year again. In this post I'll share an update on my progress working towards my goals.

Here are the goals I've set to reach before the end of 2025:

1. 35,000 Hive (a 23,29% growth)
2. 4000 HBD (a 99,60% growth)
3. 40,000 Virtual Hive (a 18,38% growth)

The progress

In the following table you can see an overview of the progress of my goals.
Virtual Hive is the total of all my Hive (staked and liquid) plus the amount of Hive I can buy with my HBD at the current price of Hive ($0,25.9)

I've changed the table a bit compared to the previous reports. I've added the In/decrease column that shows how many tokens the total amount has in- or decreased. This shows that my total amount of Hive has increased with more than 12,639 since 1-1-2025.
I'm 6,025 Hive above my desired target for the end of the year. If I would sell those for HBD at the current Hive price I would get 1,560 HBD. Together with the 79 HBD I already have would make 1639 HBD which would mean 41% of my HBD goal. We're not yet halfway through the year, so I'm nicely on schedule for my goals. And I'll be waiting for the Hive price to go towards $0.40 before I'm selling some for HBD.

Rewards

Last week I had a bit more author rewards. But I'm keeping my curation rewards steady, almost at 60 HP a week. I did tranfer some of my liquid Hive to the account for my @topcomment curation project because I wanted to promote a post on PeakD. I hope that will result in some more income for the project so it can become self sustainable. It isn't at the moment because I have to transfer some Hive every now and then to be able to pay out the delegators.
