My Hive goals! #saturdaysavers update
Goals
It's always good to set yourself goals, so you have something you can work towards. That is why I joined the #saturdaysavers initiative by @eddie-earner and @shanibeer this year again. In this post I'll share an update on my progress working towards my goals.
Here are the goals I've set to reach before the end of 2025:
- 35,000 Hive (a 23,29% growth)
- 4000 HBD (a 99,60% growth)
- 40,000 Virtual Hive (a 18,38% growth)
The progress
In the following table you can see an overview of the progress of my goals.
Virtual Hive is the total of all my Hive (staked and liquid) plus the amount of Hive I can buy with my HBD at the current price of Hive ($0,238)

This week I've managed to increase my stake with 234 Hive to a total of 39,483.277. I'm just 517 Hive removed from a 40K Hive stake. The highest I've ever had!
Two weeks ago I had traded all my HBD for Hive while the price of Hive was very low.
The result is that I immediately reached my Hive goal (167%), and my HBD was much lower than on January 1st, showing negative progress (-102.73).
For now, I’m using the extra stake to accumulate even more Hive through curation so that later, when the price of Hive goes up again, I can buy back HBD with less Hive.
Rewards
Let's have a look at my rewards of the past 7 days.
Compared to last week I have quite a bit less total rewards. $31.01 in total instead of 52.24 last week. This was mainly because of my author rewards two weeks ago. Because of my increased Hive stake, my curation rewards increased with almost 25 HP in the past 7 days. I also have quite a nice curation APR with 8.61%
I did also earn some extra Hive with microblogging via Snaps. For those who don't know it yet, you really should check it out: https://peakd.com/snaps/
I've made an extra 7.178 Hive and 1.730 HBD bij microblogging in the past two weeks. It's not much, but microblogging is fun and there is much engagement on Snaps.

Great to see you are part of this Club. I have actually made a couple of contributions to it, via my references to the One Bitcoin Club. In them, I let ShaniBeer know I might join it one day. If so, finding you here as someone I have a little familiarity with, will help.
Still thinking about it, in the broader context of the time I can reasonably commit, but saving is certainly a worthwhile topic! I'll look forward to your posts in the future, about how that is going for you.
