XRP is the key to unlocking this future, implying that the digital currency has a significant role to play in Ripple's plans. It has the focus on improving the speed and efficiency of cross-border payments through the use of XRP, which is a digital asset that can be used as a bridge currency between different fiat currencies. While it is know as the cryptocurrency of the banks which might be against decentralization principles, I think that XRP Ripple has its place within the overall finance transformation (Current ranking per market cap: 6th place).
