You Are the Product

The JIO Finance has started the Income Tax filing for Rs 24 and if you need expert advice then it's Rs 499. The thing is Rs 24 is nothing and thus everyone will try to use it. Now the problem here is JIO is actually not looking for money, they are looking for your data.

Say for example, you use the JIO platform to file the income tax, then they will have all your data including your income. Now with the help of this data they can actually use their product advertisement as per the data. So even though your money is not given your data is given. And to be honest data is much more important than the money I feel. Money is important but data is also important to be honest.

Some people will feel that it's ok to share the data as we are getting the service, but these data can be used by these companies as well as it is shared with other companies too. And though it is not harmful but you are bombarded with the products from these comapnies based on your data.

And it is everywhere, if you are getting any service for free then it's not that it's fully free. Your data is actually been taken for that service and thus your data became a fee. So even though it's a free product, you are a product for them. They will try a lot of things with yoy to see the outcome.

This is what ChatGPT is also doing, their basic model is free because they are getting more and more data so that it can improve its data. And that's how the improved version of GPT model is coming. And the data which everyone is sharing, it's been fed and the ChatGPT is improving.
