Learning Habit Should Be LifeLong Goal

When we were kids, we used to hear that once you are done with Class 10 and get good result, the life is set. After passing 10, we then used to hear that you are done with class 12 and get good result then your life is set. And similarly college. To be honest, your life will only be set when you continue learning and it's a lifelong phenomenon.

Learning should not be only about reading or mugging up the books. Learning can be anything which can help you in life. For example, if you are learning personal finance, it is a great start for your financial journey. If you are learning video editing, it can become your monetizable skill. If you are learning to play a sport, you can become better in that which will help your health and so on.

So learning habit should be a lifelong goal. Yes it's better to learn as per your work but that doesn't mean you cannot learn anything else. For example, I saw an uncle who is like 50 years old started learning table tennis. Because he wanted to spend more time plating a game as well as keeping his body in a good shape. Similarly instead of having a financial planner,if you can learn the basics of personal finance you can save a lot of money.

As a student, the learning always used to mean that we should mug up something. But the problem with most of the school system is that, they never taught the life skills. So basically 90% of the learnings is waste in my opinion. And thus the real learning starts when you start your job or get into the field of your passion. The more you learn about different aspects of your field the more better you will become. And that's why learning should always be there.

I started teaching maths in my neighborhood. And because of that I started learning about the formulas again so that I can teach the kids. And it is making me energetic after the hectic days work because I am learning the concepts again.
