Got Money From BitDroplet

In 2023, the news came that people are not able to withdraw money from BitDroplet and BitBNS. I too had some money in the BitDroplet where I was buying the Bitcoin with Rs 100 per day. I have invested around Rs 16K and it went upto Rs 27K. When I came to know about people not able to withdraw, I immediately asked for the withdrawal.

Even after I requested for withdrawal, I was not getting any support from the BitBNS team and I thought it was a scam. I didn't expected that I will get the money from the BitBNS. But today to my surprise I got one NEFT payment. I was not sure who has sent me the payment. And then when I check the full description, I got to know about the sender. And I have got around Rs 27K back. So it was a surprise for me that I got the money back.

It took around 2 years to get the money but still its better that I have got it and it didn't went down the drain. And that's one of the reason I have stopped buying from the Indian exchange, it is the 2nd exchange which has stopped withdrawal along with WazirX. I know keeping the crypto in the exchange is not a good idea but you will not be able to move all your crypto to the hard wallet. You need some crypto in the exchange for sudden trading.

I still have some crypto in Binance wallet, and I am thinking of buying the hardware wallet to move my crypto there. Hopefully I will able to buy that wallet in this or next year. But until that time, Binance is keeping my crypto safe. And BitBNS was a lesson for every investor that you should not invest a lot of money in one exchange and mostly new exchange.
