I've thrown everything I planned out of the window and I just hyped on ASTER
I've written few times that in this bull cycle I have a plan, that I will take profits, that I will not hype on any new project and simply wait for the bear market to get back into some worthy cryptocurrencies. And what do I do? I simply throw everything I know out of the window and I just hyped on ASTER after seeing a tweet from CZ. And it was not like I got in time as when I entered and bought some it was already doubled from the initial tweet moment - from $0.17 to $0.34. But after that it pushed even towards $0.45 and I was just thinking to maybe take profits at $0.50. But after that I thought to myself - why to stop there? Why not wait for the token price to get to $5. And I knew at that point that I simply surrendered my entire plan to my emotions and even if I acknowledge that somehow I don't fight it. Big mistake... or is it? Who knows, from one point forward all seems like a pure gamble like playing roulette in a casino and putting it all either on red or black. But who knows, maybe I win and beat the house. 😃😃LOL, that will never happen! But still, I will hold my position for now just because of some points that I DYOR on it.
My current holding patter is determined by a comparison that I've made between Aster (ASTER) and Hyperliquid (HYPE), two fast growing tokens focused on on-chain perpetual trading and layer-1 ecosystems.

When it comes to HYPE, though newer in origin, it already operates as a high-speed Layer-1 chain and has a robust token economy built around utility, staking, and governance. Probably it is not late to invest in it, but I would rather wait for a bear market to do that as the token price is quite expensive for me. This is one of the reason that I did the move to one of his newest contender.
For sure CZ gave me a push, but being a challenger was another element that I have factored in my decision, even if it was one without an in-depth analysis. ASTER is the up-and-coming DEX challenger backed by Binance which is offering promising tokenomics and rapid community adoption. Coupled this with the yield that BNB itself provides in this period (one of the ALTS that has seen new ATH after new ATH), makes from ASTER the right ecosystem launched at the right time. Now how high can ASTER go? For sure there is a lot of space for growth, but in the same time I need to think how long will this bull market still lasts. Probably if I will see some nice profits like x5 I will exit my position, even if comparing the supply and the price point between ASTER and HYPE, I would feel good about a $5 price point. But that might be a stretch... or not? 😀

With CZ behind it and the Binance community, $5 might not be that of a stretch, although the timing may be different than expected. I've heard of the token making rounds of engagement on CT, we'll see how it goes once the hype settles down.
Yes, the project seems in a solid ecosystem and I think the token launch benefited from that.
