Hive Pulse - A new project I'm developing for the Hive blockchain
I have written many times of wanting to build an app for the Hive blockchain and that seems to start taking shape. One thing that was a showstopper for me is the development challenging. Even if I have a diploma as a software engineer, in reality I didn't write much code, but mostly focused on a software testing career. That was quite fulfilling and I pushed its limits, but one thing I never could is to start a project on my own. My brother is a genius developer and architect, but I can ask so much from him to write code for me whenever I want. Probably he will help, but he has his own life and cannot dedicate too much time on this. But what pushed me now to create a new app for the Hive blockchain is the use of AI tools for this. And with that in mind, even if it is not LIVE yet, I've started taking the steps to make that happen.
App name
The first step for me was to find a name for the app and that comes in the shape of Hive Pulse.
Domain name
Second was to buy a domain for hosting the app and that got me to hivepulse.app.
App scope and goals
Third was to define the scope of it and that will be to offer insights and intelligence to users on the Hive blockchain related to their activity and engagement. Not that there aren't enough such apps, but I hope to bring some new approach on it.
This project will not be another proposal for DAO funding, but it will be one that will try to get its resources through community support in the form of curation. And I think more projects should be run like this instead of milking the DAO which is reflected also in the Hive price. We should find funding and support out of DAO treasury in order to lower inflation and improve tokenomics. Maybe that's not enough on its own, but I think it is a step forward.

I too wanted to do like that, so I used AI create a simple web application that can calculate the voting value by taking input from the user. Offcourse it has its flaws. But I did it and so can you. look first you dont need a degree to write code and in the other way if you will build an app make sure that your app can solve a real problem.
It surely solves my problem as first hand that's where the need came from. Hopefully others will find it useful when I launch it.

Next week I should have 2 free days in the end of it alongside another 2 from the weekend. That should give me some time to host it on a server and get it live.
Innovating and contributing apps to the blockchain is a great use of your time! @acidyo is leveraging ai to accelerate his visions for aps and functionality too and I love it.
Wonderful notion to fund the development yourself and not milk the dao. Maybe that trend will help ai improve things here, enable folks without a team or the time it takes to innovate, and push up the value of the community token.
