Hive Blockchain - Engagement barometer through the lens of Comment Rewarder | September 2024
Comment Rewards is like the new kid in town and as he came he energized the entire Hive blockchain ecosystem. An innovative idea to boost engagement in the form of comments to the articles created all over the space. And as this will probably lift off month after month, I've decided to take a closer look at the activity done by the @commentrewarder and get some stats out of it. So going further, I will publish the Top 100 earners in Hive and HBD from Comment Rewarded. If you were not motivated before, I hope that seeing how much others earn will give you a bump in the right direction.

Are you in the list? If not that means you have not engaged enough with Articles powered by Comment Rewarded. Look in the list of your feeds for articles where Comment Rewarder is set as Beneficiary and start engaging. It is that easy!

True 😀 I didn't know if I should go for Top 20 or more... but I felt like Top 100 will fit in the future as more users and communities will adhere to use CommentRewarder. I will do the report once a month, so hopefully I will keep the "spam" at a minimum. 😀

Through CommentRewarder we have a great initiative and mechanism to incentive engagement on the Hive blockchain. This should ensure great interaction levels regardless of the market conditions.
If I may request, will it possible to also show the stats of authors using CR service?
I think it's also worth featuring there effort in sharing their profits to the engagers?
Busy building a lot of stuff. But CR is currently getting the most attention so it seems worth it invest more time in it.
Amazing, imagine having a list of people being rewarded in comment by commentorrewarder. I have gotten some rewards off of it. I haven't enabled this before, maybe I will someday.

This is a fascinating post and I'm pleased to see someone has decided to drill down more on the effects of @commentrewarder. It's nice to understand how @commentrewarder is having a financial effect on people, which is great by the way, but what about increased comment engagement in the community as a result of using the @commentrewarder service.
Your post is predominantly about the financials, it would be nice to know if @commentrewarder is increasing constructive engagement within the community. Do you have any stats on that?
I actually had no idea in terms of rewards I have benefited so much from posts that use the @commentrewarder service, and thank you to @commentrewarder for that. Check out my comments and you will see I am getting involved in all sorts of conversations on all sorts of posts, most do not use the @commentrewarder service.
I am now using @commentrewarder on all my posts as I am new here and don't have much stake, therefore my vote value isn't much at all and I can't reward people for commenting on my posts the way I want to, so I have enlisted the help of @commentrewarder.
Five days ago I also switched from 50/50 to 100% HP when it comes to post payouts. This helps to bump up the Hive payout figure for those comments which receive a tip from me as a result of using @commentrewarder. Hopefully this might help people to power up a little more Hive.
Good point, I will try to extract some stats about authors, articles and comments powered by commentrewarder and without any financial aspects. We can look at the stats from different perspective and this is a good one pointed out, thanks for the feedback.

But I'm setting it as beneficiary for most of my posts and I'm so happy to give some tips to who comment because my HP is still too low to vote properly.
Yeah, I've presented only Top 100 rewarded users by CR. For October for example we have over 500 accounts rewarded so far and probably I will only present Top 100 as well. Thus, more engagement, more rewards - to your posts and others that have CR enabled.

It's more about if you don't vote any comment though, i.e. it doesn't send people tips just by commenting to avoid bots/abusers.

Didn't notice I was so high in the queue, but likely because CR is not yet known amoung a larger community. And probably because I tested it quite soonish..
I think I will keep using it on my monthly posts, and whenever I need to attract more engagement. So far quite happy about how simple it is, and if that brings excitement on engagement, its a great thing for hive.
