Saturday Savers 2025 Progress Report - Week 3

I think this counts... it's Saturday, but only just 😁

I'm doing my #SaturdaySavers post extra early this week; I'm away at an event all day tomorrow, and don't want to find I get back so late that it's Sunday. I've been doing really well posting every day this month and don't want to break the streak.

How Did The Week Go ?

It was very much an "ordinary" week this week. Nice and unexciting, which is sometimes exactly what I like 😀

I've posted every day but with real life being pretty busy, quite a few of the posts have been in communities I think of as "comfortable" rather than high-earning. I'm okay with that; maintaining the quality of posts is just as important to me as how much they earn. I certainly don't want to ever post fluff I'm not happy with just in the hope of earning a few extra Hive !

The % value for the posts goal shows red, but it only takes one more post for it to go black, and this #SaturdaySavers post should do that nicely !

Although my HP rewards aren't on target, they're still reasonably respectable. HBD earnings, on the other hand, have been impressive and I'm starting to build a nice buffer relative to my goal. While the 8.949 HBD I earned during the week is less than my current weekly target, the weekly target includes averaged out monthly interest. I'm comfortable that over the month I should be able to keep building up above my goal.

LEO and BBHO both show big gains this week, but that's mostly because I bought some of each for their respective power up days.

For those who don't know, this coming Monday, 20th January, is BPUD - BBHO Power Up Day. All you have to do is power up 100 BBHO and post about it. It's definitely one of the projects I find most interesting right now !

I'm normally very disorganised about saving, and the support of the wonderful people in #SaturdaySavers has been invaluable in keeping me focused. I can honestly say that without it, my HP would probably be half what it is now.

So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !
