Saturday Savers 2025 Progress Report - Week 22

This is a very belated #SaturdaySavers update....

I was away at a re-enactment event over the weekend, and the plan of doing an update when I got back on Sunday evening was overtaken by the need to dunk myself in Voltarol from the neck down and wait for the aches to subside.

That's the downside of living a nice sedentary life driving a computer for most of the time, and then switching to high activity re-enacting the things people 40-odd years younger than I am did when they went off to war !

How Did The Week Go ?

Well, I managed to miss HPUD, and didn't post much. It wasn't lack of motivation so much as lack of time; the week was crazy busy, and being away for the weekend in a place where there was no internet and virtually no mobile signal definitely puts a crimp on things !

But on the upside, the monthly HBD interest came though and was 33.04 HBD, which is starting to feel like it's a noticeable amount.

Despite having not posted much over the last couple of weeks, my earnings were actually quite a surprise - I think I had a couple of decently earning posts.

Something I forgot to mention last week was that I actually bought a few more EDSI's. They seem to be an effective method of getting liquid HIVE as a regular drip. I'm currently up to around 1.1 HIVE a week, which is not huge but it's more than halfway to covering my normal SBI commitments.

I'm really, really hoping that over the next couple of weeks I'll have more time to post. But first I've got to do all the cleaning and repairs on my re-enactment kit !

I'm normally very disorganised about saving, and the support of the wonderful people in #SaturdaySavers has been invaluable in keeping me focused. I can honestly say that without it, my HP would probably be half what it is now.

So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !
