Saturday Savers 2025 Progress Report - Week 10

It's Saturday again ! I'm sure it was Saturday only yesterday, I have no idea where the week went !

So it's time for my #SaturdaySavers update.

How Did The Week Go ?

Hive Power and Posts

This was a week that was very much focused on real life. I still managed to post every day, but being honest for most of the time my attention was elsewhere.

My earnings are consistent at around 40 HP a week, compared to a target of 70 HP a week. With the combination of dip in price and strengthening price of GBP compared to the USD I'm going to see if I can find some fiat to buy enough to make up the difference. Once a bunch of real world bills are taken care of !

I wonder if doubling the number of posts would double the earnings ? This assumes that I'd keep up the quality of posts, I'm not about to start posting total rubbish just in the hope of picking up automated upvotes ! But I do think that I'm still taking too long to make each post, so that's something that's worth looking at.

Tribe Tokens

In good news, I hit my first goal already !! Taking advantage of the dip in price, I bought some more LEO, ready for LPUD next Saturday. Sadly, LEO's price seems to keep dipping and dipping, to the point where I'm starting to think it may never come back up again. It certainly illustrates the disconnect between utility and token value.

Right now, the LEO price means that my holding is worth around a third of the fiat I spent on it. With it being a relatively small element in my portfolio, and having hit my goal for the year, I'll probably sit back and let it develop just to see what happens. Leo is a good project, I just think the token doesn't reflect it's value.

BBHO on the other hand seems relatively stable. Inevitably it dipped a little when everything fell over a few days ago, but not as much as most other tribe tokens. The price now seems to be on a steady and gentle upward trajectory. I'm doing really well on my goal, and my current plan is to keep trickling SWAP.HIVE into it.

Overall, it was a good week.... how was yours ?

If you are one of my friends reading this (or just someone who tripped over one of my posts), I really recommend this as a great community that's well worth joining.

I'm normally very disorganised about saving, and the support of the wonderful people in #SaturdaySavers has been invaluable in keeping me focused. I can honestly say that without it, my HP would probably be half what it is now.

So join ! You don't have to wait until the start of the year. The best time to start saving is ten years ago. The second best time is right now !
