HPUD - Hive Power Up Day June 2026

It's the first day of the month, and that makes it Hive Power Up Day !

I've done my bit this month, powering up a chunk of my liquid HIVE;

We're exactly halfway through the year, and what a rollercoaster the first half of 2026 has been !

Hive has faced serious price volatility, mostly in a downward direction, and a distinct crisis of confidence. I think we still have a lot of work to do if we are to reduce the amount of money the DHF spends to a sustainable level, and to get inflation under control. But wide recognition of the issue is a very good start.

In terms of my own account growth, it's hard to stay motivated to keep active and posting, but I'm still comfortable that Hive is a worthwhile use of my time and energy. I've been powering up 1000HP every month this year, except February when I didn't have enough liquid HIVE and could only do 500. I reckon that counts as a vote of confidence 😁

I'm up to 24224 HP now, but still reckon I'll be a centenarian before I turn into an Orca....

I think what impresses me the most is the group of inspiring developers and coders who keep producing awesome tools off their own backs without begging for funding from the DHF. People like that deserve every upvote and bit of support we can give them !

So happy HPUD everyone, now lets get Hive out of it's hole and show the world it's true potential !
