The Review of "Elevation"

The 2024 movie "Elevation" is a post-apocalyptic action thriller directed by George Nolfi.

The film takes place in the Rocky Mountains, where a single father, Will, played by Anthony Mackie, and two women, Nina and Katie, embark on a perilous journey to save Will's son, Hunter, who suffers from a lung disease.

The world has been devastated by monstrous creatures known as "Reapers," which emerged from the ground three years prior to the events of the film, killing 95% of the population. The Reapers don't venture above 8,000 feet, which is why the survivors live in communities above this altitude.

As Will, Nina, and Katie navigate the treacherous landscape, they face numerous challenges, including encounters with the deadly Reapers. Along the way, they discover that the Reapers may not be biological creatures, but rather machines built using advanced alien technology.

"Elevation" received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising the film's action sequences, cinematography, and performances, while others found it to be predictable and lacking in.
