Yes I agreeee. Here in Venezuela and in Caracas the capital My Home city a Lot of people practique capoeira and a Lot of Maestres comes from there and a Lot of Venezuelan people travel to Bahía too. I was the guitar player in a semba reggae band from here very similar to Olodum. With a Lot of drums and dancers (garotas) we was a huge team.
Yes In 90s to 2011 I played reagge in bands from here. I listen a Lot in the past. Bob Marley. The wailers. Peter tosh. Junior P. Israel Vibrations. natiruts. Midnite. Ponto de equilibrio. Erykah Badu. I have the dvd from Marley tribute very awesome. And I listen santería Candombe músic from there like the Best singer of all the times for me there, the carnaval queen: clara nunes "ilu aye"
I have some Brasil músic lp like samba músic Scolas and holiday in río, badém Powell, stuffs like that and bebel Gilberto, Joao Gilberto, Cazuza, sepultura of course, Ratos de porao...
