De la gripe a la alegría

---

Hoy en la mañana me levanté con el malestar de gripe,
dolor de garganta y malestar corporal.
Con ganas de no hacer nada,
y con flojera hasta de respirar.

Después de los antigripales y los guarapos de mamá,
a media mañana me pude levantar.
Y de un gran desayuno criollo pude disfrutar,
con arepita, huevo y queso y un café negro fuerte para despertar.

Me senté en mi oficina,
para mi rutina continuar,
Y después de prender mi PC,
Al correo, Discrd y Ecency fui a mirar.

Y después de leer algunas cosas,
y comentarios contestar.
Decidí hacer el dailyproront,
para empezar a publicar.

Después me asomé por el balcón de casa,
y vi un hermoso sol sobre Caracas brillar,
y decidí ponerme la ropa y salir a caminar,
aunque no me provocara por mi enorme malestar.

Y qué alegría sentir el calor del sol,
sobre mi cuerpo al caminar,
sentía que de energía me llenaba,
a cada paso dar, alegrando mi alma y apaciguando el malestar.

Y al caminar por la avenida Páez,
no dejaba de disfrutar,
la arquitectura divina,
que en los árboles el Creador nos da.

Llego un momento que en ese alegre caminar,
ni me acordaba de que gripe tenía el malestar.
Ahora que regreso a casa y la temperatura vuelve a cambiar,
los vestigios del virus comienzan a atacar.

Con acetominofén y los guarapos de malojillo y toronjil de mi mamá,
inicié en contra del virus un contraataque criminal,
esperando vencerlo, para mi vida activa retomar,
pero gusto tanto mi paseo, que en este poema se los vine a relatar.

From the flu to joy

---

I woke up this morning feeling sick with the flu,
sore throat and body discomfort.
Wanting to do nothing,
and with slackness even to breathe.

After Mom's anti-flu and guarapos,
by mid-morning I was able to get up.
And a great Creole breakfast I was able to enjoy,
with arepita, egg and cheese and a strong black coffee to wake up.

I sat in my office,
for my routine to continue,
And after turning on my PC,
To the mail, Discrd and Ecency I went to look.

And after reading some things,
and reply comments.
I decided to do the dailyproront,
to start publishing.

Then I peeked out from the balcony at home,
and I saw a beautiful sun over Caracas shining,
and I decided to put on my clothes and go for a walk,
even if it didn't provoke me because of my enormous discomfort.

And what a joy to feel the warmth of the sun,
on my body when walking,
i felt that it filled me with energy,
at every step to give, brightening my soul and appeasing the discomfort.

And as we walk down Paez Avenue,
i couldn't stop enjoying,
the divine architecture,
that in the trees the Creator gives us.

There comes a time when in that joyful walk,
I didn't even remember that I was sick with the flu.
Now that I'm coming home and the temperature is changing again,
the vestiges of the virus begin to attack.

With acetominophen and my mom's malojillo and lemon balm guarapos,
I started a criminal counterattack against the virus,
hoping to beat it, for my active life to resume,
but I like my walk so much, that in this poem I came to relate them to you.
