This is our weekly showcase where we highlight posts in this community shared here in the last seven days. These are the posts that have impressed us at COM the most.

@sperosamuel15 - The Rat Chase // My Worst Night
Not long after, another giant rat jumped down....
This time around, it fell on a nylon and the noise was much...the noise seems to be coming my direction and I didn't know when I jumped up from the bed and started running, funny enough, I turned back and the rat was behind me probably looking for its own way but my brain interpreted it immediately that the rat was chasing me and I kept running.
This was an hilarious COM post about rat chasing the author making him have a worst night experience at a friend's place.

@kingsleyy - People that prefer injection to drugs
I've been asking and giving these people the following instances:
Just like I said earlier, I'm very certain that these people's ways of thinking have been influenced by ideas gotten from places I don't know—maybe from Korean movies—because how can a reasonable, normal person prefer a needle to be inserted into their soft body while they could just swallow bitter-leaf-like pills and have peace?
He doesn't like injections but seem to want everyone not to like it as well, too bad he got some comments that meant injections aren't so bad.

@stevewealth - An unforgettable wedding experience.
If someone has ever told you to eat very well before going for an event, you should thank the person for doing you so much a good deed, especially if you're going for a wedding or an event where food is going to be served, Hehehe . Even if you make the mistake of not eating well before going, never make the mistake of going to a wedding with insufficient funds. By insufficient funds I mean insufficient cash. I hope by now you can relate.
Talking from experience, this author advises that anyone invited to a party should go prepared especially in the aspect of eating before going.

@joycealarapon - WEIRD JOURNEY TO LAGOS
In my mind, I had visualized myself jamming to the Wizkid album and nodding my head in intervals to the tune of the music. I could see myself looking out through the bus window, enjoying the cool breeze and feeding my eyes on people’s activities on the route that leads to Lagos from Ondo.
I wanted my imagination to come into realization really fast but little did I know that the saying “man proposes, God disposes” would happen to me.
Talk about a really weird journey experience, from being disturbed to finding out a very shocking truth about a fellow passenger.

@nkemakonam89 - All because of food
You don't want to imagine how I was queuing for food three times and packing all kinds of food in my big bag, which later ripped on the road on my way home. It was really embarrassing, rice scattered on the road, soup, bottled water, and some drinks all littered everywhere, and I got stained even, all because of food, lolz.
Too much of everything is bad, that phrase came to life again with this author's experience with free food.

@fashtioluwa - War At The Hospital With Nurse (Comedy)
The two things I am scared of are balloons and needles (injections). I have been able to avoid these two things while growing up. For the balloons, when we are preparing for a party that involves balloons and I am asked to join the other kids in filling them with air, I would prefer to do other tedious jobs than that. Sometimes the parents will see me as the strongest among them, not knowing I am only running away from having a nuclear bomb blow up in my face.
Who has a phobia to balloons? This author has got to be the only one, he actually prefers hard work to inflating balloons, how funny!
