A frying pan is useful for heating up bread without risking burning them, or frying things that would just fall through the BBQ grid! And the wok is great for boiling up some water for tea since I don't trust aluminum kettles on a coal fire, or of course for woking stuff - like fried rice or noodles mixed with the leftover meats and vegs! - or making a soup. Or when you want to eat hot pot outdoors!
Next BBQ... depends on the weather and hubby's work. Soon I hope! We meant to have one on the Saturday a week ago, but it got cancelled. He seldom knows more than 3-4 days in advance, sometimes even not until the same afternoon, if he's working or not. On one occassion last summer we'd planned for a week, sliced and marinated meats for a couple of days, baked pita bread, packed it all in boxes so we'd just have to grab them and the BBQ and go out. Then his boss called: you have to work today and for three days, NN is home with a sick child! :( Of course, I cooked everything at home instead and put in his lunchboxes, but the flavour isn't the same.
