Greetings my dear Hive fellows!
I am pleased to know that Pineapple’s legacy is going to be bestowed to a great team with our beloved brother @detlev who is working hard at the moment in the back. Meanwhile, the community is not so active nowadays, but soon we are going to experience a new form of daily travel digest. Meanwhile, I am going to share my last weekend’s activity by visiting a nearby riverside forest where I found the fishing community for the first time.
The name of the park is Green Island Park in English what I get from the translation of the Chinese name “绿岛公园” which is located in Miyun City’s urban area which is just next to Hauiarou City where I am currently living. If you are following my blogs, then you are noticing the name of Miyun City over and over again as I am currently covering this district’s tourist spots as the main focus. And later I am going to cover the other districts as well.
The transportation to this district is very convenient, I just take my bicycle to get to the nearest bus stop which is rarely one km away from my living place and I can also come back with my bicycle sooner after getting down from the bus. When you have no personal car, then this is really a great scope to have such flexibility. Though there are bike sharing rides available also I prefer my own bicycle as I can park anywhere I want without the hassle of finding the parking sites that are often troublesome and result in compensation that I have faced several times.
Green Island Park is on both riverside banks of the river known as Chaobai River and the name I got from the Pinmapple map, otherwise I thought it was a canal as the flow of water was so tiny and most of the part is like a standstill water than the strong water flow I observe in my country. The area of the park is really huge with a total green plantation of trees that indicates the tremendous effort from the Beijing municipality to make Beijing a greener city.
Both sides of the river are just like forest areas having roads that are so beautiful to ride on. I have visited only one side of the park as there are many entrances of the park on both sides of the park. Though there was a sign not to take the bicycle I saw no place to park my bicycle, so I took my bicycle with me inside the park as all the other people were doing.
I saw some people sitting there and there in the park, some were doing some physical activities, and saw many children preparing to catch fish with their small net with stick-like fish-catching instruments. I have seen them in many places doing this activity where I see some water bodies. So, this river is a great place for them to enjoy the fish-catching activity with their parents.
Then I entered the fishing area of the park just near the river and found so many basements for catching fish and I found almost 90% of these bases were already filled with people catching fish. There were many old ages people, some whole family tenting were also enjoying their weekend activity. All of them were so calm and concentrated in their fishing hooks.
I don’t know the river fishing free here or not as I didn’t see any notice regarding the fees for the fishing entry there. I think it is free for all, as not the complete area was allowed for fishing, I saw only a tiny part of the park on the river banks on both sides of the river was allowed for fishing activity.
I have spent a long time there hearing the music from the water ripple and the nature, exploring the surrounding beauty. But during my observation, no one could be seen to catch a fish. That time I was recalling my memory that fishing with hooks needs too much patience and patience.
I have seen many children catching fish at the barrage section of the river where the water level is so low that the river is not like a natural river, the deepness and the flow of water and it’s quantity are extremely controlled just like the canal.
Everything I saw was very lively but I couldn’t able to catch the view of catching fish with the hook and the man was controlling it to grab the fish. But I had a great time in the lap of nature which made my weekend a great one with nature.
As a nature lover, such a visit to a simple park is not as simple as it is seen. The simplest part of nature has the capability to soothe your mind and give you a very peaceful moment that you cannot find anywhere else. I really enjoyed the time spent in the Green Islan park.
I hope you like my tour of such a fantastic place with great exploration. It was amazing to have such tours to a fantastic place like this, with the discovery of natural beauty to enjoy and lose myself away from my busy life! If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.
Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wish you a great day!
Thanks!
Dear @tanzil2024 !
Hassan!
Is Pineapple a place to write travel articles?
Hauiarou City, where you live, and Miyun City next to it, appear to be places where China's wealthy upper class live!
I remember that China's modern cities are inhabited by China's wealthy people.
China's poor cannot live in cities but live in rural areas.
I assumed you had never been to a rural area!😃
The rulers of China give wonderful residences to wise and good foreigners like you.
They only want to show the best sides of China and the Chinese people to foreigners like you!
My dear bro Hassan!
If my comments are rude or offensive, please tell me!😅
Did I leave an unpleasant reply to your fun and wonderful travel article?
Yeah, this community is for travel blogs.
I think there are many rural areas where I currently live, I always see the farmers working in agricultural lands, and very rural villages in the mountain regions which are completely different than the cities. But the communication is very good whether it is very far in the mountains or barren lands.
May be as all the countries are doing the same, they always want to cover the limitation, but it is also true you can't expect something like in the developed countries from a highly populated developing country like China.
I don't mind, you can say whatever you feel, I am sharing my thoughts and exploration publicly, so I have nothing here personal, don't be worried. When you deal publically, then you have to face the public sentiment from every aspect.
I couldn't find any unpleasant reply to my fun and wonderful travel blog! Why do you think so?
Thanks for reading my post!
"as-salaam 'alaykum"! Hassan!
I always live in fear of this legal punishment.
defamation laws
Introduce Wonderland to my friend @joeyarnoldvn.
I am sorry to tell my brother Hassan about my inglorious past!😂
That long-haired, naked psychopath frequently showed nude photos of himself to minors.
When I called him a psychopath, he sued me for defamation and I paid a fine of US$2,600.
So, I must always hide my personal information.
The government of the country I live in is always monitoring what individuals say and do.
So, my people are not active in the hive.
If I say or do something unpleasant to the country's ruling class, I can be subject to criminal punishment.
Because they are afraid that I will reveal to the public the secrets they want to keep hidden.
I remember that the Chinese government is currently punishing defamation.
If I tell you about the secrets of China's rulers, you could be at a serious disadvantage.
Since your personal photos and personal information are publicly available on Hive, you may be subject to surveillance by the Chinese government.
I don't want you to be fired or kicked out of your job!😧
