Last Ride of 2025: Chasing Mountains, Rivers, and Waves

Hello Hivers, it’s me again!
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying life one ride, one cup of coffee, and one beautiful view at a time. Today, I’m sharing a very special memory with you, our last ride of the year 2025. This was not just another motorcycle trip; it was a quiet decision, a change of plans, and a reminder that sometimes the best journeys are the unplanned ones.
At first, we really planned to go to Marilaque–Antipolo. It was supposed to be a simple ride nothing fancy, just the usual road we’ve taken many times before. But somewhere in the middle of the ride, with the cool breeze brushing our faces and the road stretching endlessly ahead, we looked at each other and decided, “Why not go farther?”
And just like that, we turned our handlebars toward Infanta, Quezon.
It was just the two of us, riding our motorcycle named Moti, carrying nothing but excitement, snacks, and a heart ready for adventure. The road welcomed us with misty mountains, winding curves, and views that made us stop more than once just to breathe it all in. There’s something magical about riding without rushing, where every stop feels earned and every view feels personal.

One of my favorite moments was holding a warm cup of coffee while sitting quietly, watching motorcycles pass by and listening to nature do its thing. No loud thoughts, no pressure just peace.

From fog-covered mountains to long coastal views, from shaded beaches to rivers with bamboo rafts, every place felt like a gentle pause before the year ended.

We laughed, rested, took photos, and even sat silently at times. Those quiet moments meant so much. Riding together reminded me that adventure doesn’t always need a group or a big plan. Sometimes, “just the two of us” is more than enough.

This ride felt like a soft closing chapter for 2025. A reminder to slow down, to choose detours, and to trust the journey even when plans change. As the road led us back home, my heart felt full, grateful, and ready to welcome whatever comes next.
