Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏
I’ve always loved chasing sunsets, and Cebu has never failed me when it comes to giving those magical golden hours. Usually, I admire the sunset by the seaview, but this time, I discovered something different and equally stunning, the sunset at Adtoa Farm in Pangdan, Naga, Cebu. And honestly, it was one of the best sunset experiences I’ve had. ❤️
The Adtoa Farm is actually called PTMS Adtoa Farm. It is a wide and peaceful place tucked in the mountains of Naga. From what I know, it’s part of a project that combines nature, organic farming, and even faith. It is a project to preserve the natural beauty of the area while making it eco-religious and family-friendly.
The moment you step inside the farm premises, you will already feel that sense of calmness and connection with nature. The wide space of the farm is so refreshing to the eyes, everywhere you look, it’s just greenery, mountains, and fresh air.
The farm itself spans several hectares around more than 5 hectares if I’m not mistaken, and one of the highlights inside is their dragon fruit plantation. I was amazed to see how many rows and rows of dragon fruit plants they have. The plantation occupies a big portion of the farm, and walking through it makes you appreciate the effort and care put into growing them. Imagine seeing those cactus-like plants lined up beautifully, and when they are in season, they bear those bright pink dragon fruits. It’s truly a sight to behold! ☺️❤️
Aside from the dragon fruit plantation, there's new progress that is not still available during my visit. Right now, Adtoa Farm is also home to various fruit-bearing plants and animals. They have ponds where you can see fishes and areas where chickens, ducks, horse and even goats roam around. The farm is continuously improving. They are still doing some developments and beautification around, so every time you visit, there’s always something new to discover.
One thing that really caught my attention was their eco-religious side. They have a Station of the Cross spread out in the farm, and while walking, you can pass by each station. It’s so peaceful to do the walk there because not only are you surrounded by nature, but it also gives you time for reflection and prayer. It’s the kind of place where your spirit feels recharged.
The best time to visit Adtoa Farm is definitely in the afternoon before sunset. The walk can take several minutes, even up to an hour if you really explore, but it’s worth it. Along the way, your eyes will be full of beautiful scenery of rolling mountains, open spaces, and that feeling of being away from the noise of the city.
There’s this one spot up high where it feels like you’re literally on top of the world, so near the sky and clouds. It's a picture-perfect spot with the mountain backdrop that is just perfect for photos. As the sun sets, the entire place glows with orange, gold, and pink shades. Watching the sun slowly set behind the mountains is so beautiful, relaxing, and soul-soothing.
Along the way, while exploring the farm, I took a few photos to capture the beauty around me. Every corner felt like it had a story to tell, the dragon fruit plants, the wide mountain views, and of course, the stunning sunset. Pictures can only say so much, but being there in person makes you appreciate how simple yet wonderful nature is. ☺️❤️
What makes it even more enjoyable is that sometimes, the farm holds acoustic nights. They have a small stage and space for gatherings where you can enjoy music under the stars. Imagine ending your day with the sunset view, followed by acoustic songs in a wide open farm, it’s an experience you won’t easily forget.
If you’re ever in Cebu and want something different from the usual beach views, Adtoa Farm is definitely worth a visit. It’s beautiful, relaxing, and gives you that much needed breather from the busy city life. I left the farm with a smile and a heart that felt so light. And of course, with one more unforgettable sunset memory. ☺️
I highly recommend visiting Adtoa Farm in Naga. Bring your family, friends, or even go alone for some quiet time and you’ll leave the place with a refreshed heart and a smile. ☺️
Until next time, I’ll keep chasing sunsets. ☺️❤️
