A Travel to Retreat and to Refresh the Soul - A Womens Retreat at Clark Grand Resort Hotel, locally known as "PIKAW RESORT"

Greetings to all travelers and adventurer all around the world!

I hope this post finds you all in good health, happiness, and joyful moments as you continue your travels and adventures!

Before I share another travel story, I have a quick question for all you fellow travelers and adventurers, are you traveling just for fun, or is there a deeper purpose behind your journeys?

I’d love to share a wonderful experience we had during our recent Women’s Retreat at Clark Grand Resort Hotel at Pikaw Bauko, Mt. Province. This hidden gem is just about two hours away from our place. Although the resort is still under construction but it’s already welcoming minimum numbers of visitors, and it truly has so much to offer than we expected.

The theme of the resort is animal-inspired. There’s one pool currently open, along with several creative spots perfect for taking photos such as giant hands holding a pathway and various animal displays. Since the resort is located right in the heart of the mountains, we were surrounded by breathtaking views of towering mountains, making the atmosphere relaxing and refreshing.

But beyond the beauty of the place, what made this retreat truly special was its spiritual purpose. We didn’t just come to enjoy the scenery and have fun but we came to enrich our souls and empower each and everyone of us. We listened to God’s Word shared by our pastor, exchanged life experiences that inspired and encouraged us, prayed for one another, and of course, bonded over fun games and delicious food.

Even though the retreat lasted only one day, it was absolutely worth it. The laughter, fellowship, and heartfelt sharing made it memorable. We started our journey at 3 AM, gathered at the meeting place, and set off for an adventure that blessed us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. My husband was our designated driver, so he was the only gentleman in our photos hehe thanks to him, we traveled safely.

By the time we returned home, we were tired from the swimming and activities, but our hearts were overflowing with joy and gratitude. Our faith was strengthened, and the weight we had been feeling seemed to lift, leaving us with lighter hearts. This retreat reminded us of the importance of not only taking time to relax but also to strengthen our faith and support one another as women.

As women, we carry so much burden, and yes, we feel weary, we feel pain, and our faith may sometimes feels weak. But when we come together in prayer and unity, no burden is too heavy. With one heart, one faith, and one God, we gain the strength and courage to overcome whatever comes our way, may it be in our families, communities, and lives.

As someone who loves adventure, I sometimes head out on unplanned trip but most of the time, I travel with a purpose. Whether it’s to relax, recharge, or refresh especially when I’m feeling exhausted. But no matter the reason, I always make it a point to create meaningful memories and ensure that every trip has purpose.
