RE: Mexico - Where Time Slows Down In Patzcuaro

I'm curious to know how you found out about Pátzcuaro? Was it a recommendation from a local, or was it a group visit? It has a very ordinary, traditional Mexican village look, and nothing like some other tourist places... I suppose it was the closest to the local way of living and a typical village look... Like you said, the place where you can "sense" what it is like to live in Mexico!
My favorite places to visit are something like that... To feel the "REAL" country, behind the tourist shiny curtain...

It was a trip planned by the university as part of the exchange programme, and Patzcuaro was one of the places that was along the way, where we could get down the bus, take a break, grab some food, and since we were there, also do a bit of sightseeing. :)

Thanks for the picking this post!

I remember you telling me about the university exchange programme, but this was strange to be on the "tourist map"... So it makes sense to be just a bus stop to another place... 😃
