Hello everyone! I hope everybody is having a great day. @nilewrites is here once again @worldmappin to share some of my unplanned strolls here in our region. Today, I would like to share some of my photos taken at the "Little Siargao" of Zamboanga del Norte.
Almost every once or twice a week, I travel within the region. It is part of my work. Travel and visit our clients. It is a bit draining yet I find joy in strolling around, meeting new people, exploring new places, and trying new delicacies if there are chances.
Few months ago, I was tasked to visit the municipal office of Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte and since it was summer vacation then, I brought my family and a friend and his family. It was unplanned, it was already 5am when I called my friend to come with us, and he said, yes.
It was a 2-hours travel from our home, but the long journey was worth it. After my task at the municipal office, we went straight to the one of the most-visited beaches in Liloy, the Little Siargao and I agree the place was stunning just like how I saw them in some social media posts in drone shots.
It was a street beside the sparkling, silver sea, lined with towering coconut trees. The sunset must be beautiful in the side, but we haven't catch-up. Along the street were small shops and stores selling goods, coffee, souvenirs and slippers. There were also benches, tables, and chairs which I guess were drinking areas at nighttime.
There was a spot were overnight tents were still there, while the beachgoers were enjoying the sea and the sun in that morning. I guess, at night, that place must be very alive, a bit crowded, and full of laughter and noise.
The white sand was like salt that our kids love playing, building castles and enjoying the sand the whole day long. They didn't want to go home, and their smiles were real and beautiful.
In the afternoon, the sunset was starting to take place, but we had to go home before it fully cracked in the sky. The kids wanted to stay but we really can't stay for we still had works in the next day.
Around the area where awesome resorts where guests can spend a night in the sand under the starry skies, but I promised them that we could do it the next time we come to this beautiful place.
Best memories are made from unplanned moments. Our quick visit to Little Siargao in Liloy may have been unexpected, but it gave us joy, laughter, and memories we'll always treasure. I look forward to coming back and experiencing more of its beauty. Hopefully, next time, we'll stay long enough to catch the sunset.
