Such an interesting journey. Is Tanzania a popular travel destination for the Dutch or do you guys have a soft spot for it. I'm also interested to know how be your kids felt, other than the culture shock. I'd imagine it'd be a massive one for them if it's the first time they've left Europe.

It surely is an interesting country. I think it's a popular destination for all tourists because there is a lot to see and do and it is safe that is clearly aimed at tourists.
The kids were very enthusiastic. Both before and after the trip. I also don't mean the culture shock in a negative way. We experienced a lot of new things and talked a lot about the differences.
After the trip we talked with them about the trip and they said they really liked it and were discussing which distant countries they want to visit next 😂
