Zamboanga Sibugay, a place that the rest of the country has considered a red flag since then. I was thinking this way too back then, but everything changed as the beauty and safety of the province unfolded before my eyes. I was wrong, just as others did.
The Municipality of Payao is located at the edge of the Province of Zamboanga Sibugay, facing the sea, and is a multicultural community. A third-class municipality, nested by Subanens, the Samal Bangingi, local settlers (the Cebuanos), and the Chavacanos (Zamboangueños). And these people are friendly and very accommodating to their guests.
The municipal hall is a big, vibrant white building that confidently stands on a hill facing the open sea of Payao. It looks like a queen watching over her land.
The sea line below was a stunning view, where small houses of its inhabitants covered the whole seashore and manifested peace and order amidst diversity. These are fisherfolk who settled just by the sea. They live harmoniously down there.
Right in front of their municipal hall was a perfect place to experience perfect sea viewing while breathing the freshest air from the cold breeze. The sea looks stunning and very relaxing. There was inner peace right there.
I did a quick pose in their "I Love Payao" landmark, and everything looks very beautiful from every angle. I would love to go down to the sea, but my partner was in a hurry; he didn't want us to be at the place before sunset for some reason.
In the evening, we found a perfect place to stay. A guest house with very accommodating caretakers and non-stop wifi connection. I loved the red egg-shaped swing in the lobby and made another pose. We also talked to the caretakers, and they assured us that Payao is very safe for travellers and the people are friendly and accommodating. And they were the proofs.
There was also a place in that area where I saw a hanging bridge and tried to walk on it. It was fascinating! I love the experience, though it was a bit scary, hahahhaha.
That Payao, Zamboanga Sibugay, short visit was memorable. And I would say, it's beautyWow in Payao. Next time, I'll gonna buy fresh crabs, sea cucumbers, and shrimps from Payao and will bathe in their beautiful sea.

Thank you very much @worldmappin
I think crossing this bridge is very challenging since I have a fear of heights, hehe. But I still want to try.
Wow, Payao looks so peaceful and inviting! 🌊✨ Would love to experience that sea breeze and views someday. 🥰
