The road approach here is suitable for all tourists, tourists can reach here in about 50 minutes by traveling from Manali using Atal Tunnel. This valley situated along the Chandra River is home to high snowy mountains. The temperature here in summer goes up to 30 degrees and in winter the temperature here goes up to -15 degrees. Earlier in winter this valley used to get buried under snow but now due to construction of tunnel this valley remains open for tourists even in winter.

Go to Lahaul by taking the Rohtang Pass course or reach here by crossing the Atal Tunnel. In both the cases, Spiti route will come on your right hand side from which you cross the Kunzum Pass and enter another special valley of Himachal. And if you go left then you can go to Leh and Zanskar valley via Lahaul. Lahaul Valley is the gateway to Spiti, Leh and Zanskar Valley.

Because the roads here are not so good and sometimes the car has to drive on snow also so we have 4x4 car which takes care of us. By the way, this car belongs to my friend.
