Indeed, by the time I visited it was quite "relaxing" lifestyle to be honest. Everything super "there is time", not too much rushes, even if rules and "good sense" is inexistent... 🤣 sometimes. It's all very different, I agree!
Still you find lots of people with warm hearts and super intelligent personas in an environment where you say "why the hell are you still here? with all that potential!" - it was a very long time ago, so now it might have transformed probably.
With the AI stuff, I really think once the tech settles properly in the continent, there will be a big transformation of African countries in general. Most of us, forget that Africa is 20% population of Earth... so, whatever enables the continent, will provoke some changes!
I like the relaxed lifestyle. Everything here in Europe is so much more stressed.
And the people in Africa seem to like it themselves too. Yes, it also has some disadvantages, for instance when you're waiting for a taxi driver to take you to the airport, but I don't think there are a lot of Africans with a burn out.
The culture shock also goes for African people visiting Europe I guess. The people from Africa I met also love Africa and are proud of coming from Africa too.
We don't have that in Europe. I don't know any European that says they are European.
Africa is a very interesting continent. And I like it!
