Hello everyone to my fellow Hivers, friends, and followers especially to the active Travel lover members of @worldmappin Community it's me again @clarabels how are you this fine Thursday ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope you're all doing well and healthy โ˜บ๏ธ for today's Travel blog, I am very excited to share with you all about my travel experiences going to this sudden trip to Sagasa Island in Bien Unido Bohol Philippines ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญโค๏ธ and without further Ado let's go. โค๏ธ
Early in the morning, my cousin asked me to accompany her to Sagasa Island in Bien Unido, Bohol, for a site visit related to the case study she was conducting for her survey work.

We traveled for nearly three and a half hours to reach the Bien Unido port. Upon arrival, we were immediately met by Kuya Jomel our regular boatman to take us to Sagasa Island. Effectively, the boat was exclusive to us, as we had arranged for assistance through the local government unit of the Municipality of Bien Unidoโ˜บ๏ธ.

You can also see in the picture that I was wearing a mask while riding the boat because of the haze drifting in from Indonesia, the haze had spread to this area and is harmful to our health when inhaled posing a particular risk to small children and those with weak immune systems.

As we rode the boat, we could see how blue the water was and how rich the island was in marine life. The island itself came into view once we were just a few miles away๐Ÿ™‚.

Upon our arrival at Sagsaga Island, we were immediately met by their barangay health worker, who offered to guide us to the health center however, since the health center was inaccessible due to roof damage caused by a recent typhoon, my cousin decided to conduct the site survey at the barangay hall instead.
Their kind barangay captain also accommodated us, and my cousin readily started to survey the site so we could finish quickly and head home early, we couldn't stay in the area due to hazard risks

After the survey was completed, my cousin and I accompanied by a local barangay tanod went for a brief tour of the area. You can see boats here, as fishing is the primary source of livelihood. While majority of the women dry some of the catch small fishes , and the community is a top distributor also of dried fish in Bohol.

You can see in the picture that we finished late in the afternoon especially my cousin but overall, I am happy and amazed by the travel adventure I shared with my cousin today. The memories I made today are truly incredible๐Ÿ’–.

After five minutes, Kuya Jomel picked us up in a boat to take us to the port so we could head home, but before we boarded, the locals of Barangay Sagasa gave us some large crabs. The photo Iโ€™m sharing shows the ones my cousin and I received, a token of their gratitude toward us. We were deeply touched and truly grateful for their friendliness and the warm hospitality they showed usโ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ’–.

And that's it for today's travel blog adventure my fellow Hivers. I would like to say Thankyou so much for taking time reading my humble blog ๐Ÿ˜Š This really means a lot to me and see you on my next travel blog adventures bye๐Ÿ˜€
