What really happened 30,000 Years Ago, did the ancient humans really understood the purpose of life?

Have you ever wondered what people did with their lives before money, technology, schools, businesses and everything we call modern civilisation existed?

Have you ever wondered?

What did they wake up looking forward to?

What made them happy?

What scared them?

Did they have any dreams nor ambitions?

And most importantly, did they actually understand why they were alive?

Today, we wake up thinking about bills, work, money, relationships, success and the future. Almost everything we do is connected to something we want to achieve.

But what if I told you that 30,000 years ago, human beings were already living, learning, creating and finding ways to give meaning to their existence?

Let's take a journey back in time.

Thirty thousand years ago, the world was nothing like what we know today. There were no cities, no shopping malls, no cars and no modern hospitals. There were no supermarkets where you could walk in and buy whatever you wanted.

If you needed food, you had to find it, if you needed protection, you had to create it. If you wanted to survive, you had to understand the world around you.

But here's what makes this period interesting.

These people were not simply wandering around waiting for another day to pass. They were observing, learning, adapting and developing ways to make their lives better.

They hunted animals, gathered plants, made tools and lived in groups. They understood that surviving alone could be difficult, so cooperation became an important part of their existence.

But did they see life as nothing more than survival?

That's where things get interesting.

Because thousands of years ago, humans were already doing something that still fascinates historians today.

They were creating art

In places like Chauvet Cave in France, ancient people painted animals on cave walls. Some of these paintings are approximately 30,000 years old.

Now, think about that.

Why would someone living in a world filled with danger and uncertainty take time to paint pictures inside a cave?

Was it simply entertainment? Did the paintings carry messages? Were they connected to beliefs or ceremonies?

We don't have all the answers.

But one thing is certain: their lives involved more than finding their next meal.

They had the ability to imagine, create and communicate ideas.

And perhaps this is where our understanding of ancient humans needs to change.

They may not have had the opportunities we have today, but they were developing skills, relationships and knowledge that helped humanity continue.

So, did they have purpose?

We cannot know exactly how they understood the meaning of life. But their actions suggest that caring for others, creating things, learning and passing knowledge to the next generation were important parts of their existence.

Now, here's the question that brings us back to the present.

We have spent thousands of years developing the world. We have built cities, invented machines, created businesses and made life more convenient.

Yet, many people still struggle to find happiness, direction and purpose.

Have we really become better at living, or have we simply become better at making life convenient?

Perhaps the people who lived 30,000 years ago didn't have everything figured out. They faced hunger, danger, more harsh weather and challenges we can barely imagine.

But their story leaves us with an important question:

If you removed everything you currently depend on, what would remain of your purpose?

Would you still know who you are?

And would you know what makes your life worth living?

That's the mystery of looking back 30,000 years. We are not just discovering how ancient humans survived. We are discovering how much of being human has remained the same.

What do you think?

Did ancient humans have a better understanding of life's purpose, or has humanity simply changed the way it defines purpose?
