RE: Why you should check out Snaps, the microblogging platform by PeakD

Microblogging adds to the Hive experience, but I do think we need it to be more unified. I know the projects want to promote their communities and unique features, but I can't be checking multiple feeds all the time. I know peakd can combine them, so that is something. Hive is so small that we need to work together.

The other main platform I use is Mastodon that is all short-form. Each platforms seems to have a different feel.

True. All microblogging posts in one stream on each front-end would be very useful.
But I think, as you say, the front-end developers do need to work together for that.

I think Peakd microblogging is best on Hive, even with maybe less users(less spam honestly, the spam on Leo makes me avoid it). Mastodon is probably my favorite social media right now though.

The Mastodon people can tend to try and enforce certain rules on people. I know they are trying to make it work for everyone, but short-form ought to be fairly informal.
