A Special Dinner Treat of My Son at Our Favorite Cafe called "Kapetera"!

Good day everyone! Hello to all of my friends here and of course to all my dear fellow hivers in this lovely @bayanihive community! How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing fine right now. This is me again, @lj1728 to share another simple life story with you all.

I just want to share a simple yet heartwarming moment we had when my son, Reygan counted his "napamaskuhan". After we got home, he immediately sat down, excited to open his little wallet and start counting the money he received from his ninong and ninang (godparents), plus our relatives. I could already see the happiness on his face even before he finished counting. Every time he added another bill to the pile, his smile grow wider. You can really tell how proud and amazed he was that he had collected quite a lot this year.

When he finally finished, he looked at us and happily announced that because he had so much money, he wanted to treat the family to dinner. Hearing that from him honestly melted my heart. It may seem like a small thing, but for a child to think of sharing his blessings instead of keeping everything for himself is something truly special. Without hesitation, he suggested that we eat at "Kapetera".

If you have been following my life blogs for a while, you will already know that "Kapetera" is one of our favorite places to eat. The owner is my brother's best friend, and aside from that personal connection, the food there is always good and comforting. The place has a very homey vibe, and another thing we love about it is how convenient it is since it is just a few steps away from our house, literally within walking distance.

When the rest of the family found out that Reygan was treating us, everyone got excited. We did not waste any time and quickly headed to "Kapetera". As usual, each of us ordered our own favorite dishes. There's something comforting about eating food you already love, especially in a place that feels familiar and warm.

The weather that evening was also quite cold, which made the idea of cooking at home feel tiring. That made his treat even more perfect and timely. We enjoyed not just the food, but also the laughter and the conversations we shared around the table. Watching my son proudly pay our dinner made the moment even more meaningful.

That night reminded me that happiness can be found in small gestures like this. The joy of seeing your child grow kinder and more generous each day made this moment truly memorable and I will cherish forever.

And that's it for today's blog! Thank you so much for dropping by and taking the time to read my simple life story. This means a lot to me! I hope you enjoyed it and see you on my next one. Have a nice day ahead to all of us.
