Alluring. I could have said,
But it was way more than that.
As gentle as the sea wave on a perfect day,
The sound of her voice rose like a morning dew sun.
Glittering but dim,
Fine like wine but not drinkable,
It was the perfect intoxication for an already drunk soul.
But I wasn't. The empty bottles on the shelves are my witness.
Still, I couldn't help falling like a millipede when she spoke,
My heart thumps loudly like it was a renowned drummer for a boy band.
And my lungs skips each breath,
Filling her voice with every breath missed.
Enticing could have perfected my words to her,
But even that couldn't be compared with a word she speaks,
Everything around her move like a magic word was said to them,
And I couldn't help the smile that took hold of my chin.
Bewitched. Yes, I was and still am, and will be for a long time.
That is what her voice has done to me.
A perfect blend of jazz, hip-hop, and mocking blues,
It is filled with crazy body moves that make my eyes shine.
My ears have heard, and my eyes have seen,
But nothing is to be compared with the beauty before me,
Nothing to compare her voice with,
Because she's an angel this world has never seen.
Still yours truly,
Balikis.
Thanks for reading.
Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.
Thank you, Mel.
It is good that she can't be seen or else many people would have kidnapped her😁
Hehe, that's right, eh?
