WEIRD FACTORY - MY UNCLE'S PLACE __25TH OCTOBER

Today's prompt is weird factory and it reminded me of my uncle's workshop at Nnewi.

My uncle has a small factory where he makes plastic buckets and chairs. Last December holiday, my mother sent me to go and stay with him for 2 weeks to learn work.

On my first day, I entered the factory and I was confused. It was a weird factory. The machines were arranged upside down, the buckets were hanging from the roof instead of on the ground, and my uncle was wearing two different slippers while operating machine.

I asked him "uncle why your factory is like this"? He laughed and said "this is how I get inspiration. If I arrange it normal way, my brain will sleep".

Inside that factory, there was one corner where he keeps spoilt buckets. He calls it "cemetery of buckets". He said those ones teach him what not to do. Another corner has only blue buckets, he says blue gives him peace.

Even the workers are weird. One man sings while molding plastic, another one dances before switching on machine. My uncle said "if you don't sing, the machine will not work well".

At first I thought they were joking, but by the second week, I started enjoying it......lol, The buckets coming out were actually fine and strong. Customers were coming from Onitsha to buy from that same weird factory.

When it was time for me to go back, my uncle gave me one small blue bucket as souvenir. He said "remember the weird factory where normal is boring".

So when I saw today's prompt weird factory, I just remembered my uncle. Sometimes weird is what makes business stand out......💯💯💯💯

I agree, it's a weird looking factory. Usually in my head, I have a different image of a factory. I wonder, most buildings and or factories have a different look and feel around here. Even when the factory is industrial and is all stockpiled the way it looks is different. This is what I see, when I think of a factory, this is a waste recycling factory.
