THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT:
I laughed it off at first.
"It is just a cough," I kept telling myself. "It will disappear in a few days."
Days turned into weeks. The cough became stronger, but I was too busy to visit the hospital. I relied on cough syrup from the pharmacy and convinced myself that I was getting better.
One morning, I woke up struggling to breathe. My chest felt heavy, and every cough left me exhausted. That was the moment fear finally replaced my confidence.
At the hospital, the doctor asked me a simple question:
"Why did you wait this long?"
I had no answer.
What started as a small cough had developed into a serious pneumonia that required proper treatment. The doctor explained that if I had come in earlier, I would have recovered much faster and avoided weeks of pain.

That experience taught me something I will never forget. We often ignore small warning signs because they don't seem dangerous. We believe tomorrow will always be another chance to fix them.
But sometimes, the smallest problem creates the biggest consequences.
That is the butterfly effect.
Now, whenever my body whispers that something isn't right, I listen before it has to scream.
What about you? Have you ever ignored something small, only to realize later that it had much bigger consequences than you expected?
