GOING TO EXERCISE__WHY I KEEP SAYING TOMORROW ____DAILY PROMPT 6TH OCT

Going to exercise. Hmm.

I laughed when I saw this prompt because my brain immediately said "tomorrow". That's always my answer. Tomorrow I will go to exercise. Tomorrow I will wake up early and jog. Tomorrow never comes.

I bought a skipping rope 3 months ago. It's still under my bed, brand new, with the nylon still on it. Every morning I look at it and I say "today". Then I press snooze.

Honestly, going to exercise is not just about body, it's about discipline. It's aboout tellingg your body "I am in charrge, not yoou". My boody wantss to sleeep, wants to eat frieed rice by 9pm, wants to scrooll TikTook till 1am. But my mind knows I need to move.

Last week I actually did it. I woke up by 6am, no one forced me. I put on my big shirt and legging and I went outside to walk. Ojoto road was quiet that morning. I was just walking, sweating small small. And you know what? I felt good. I felt alive. My head was clear. I came back and drank water and I felt like I conquered the world. Just from 20 minutes walk.

So going to exercise for me is not about six packs or big bumbum. It's about that feeling after. That pride that says "I did it when I could have stayed in bed".

Today again, I am going to exercise. Not tomorrow. Today. Even if it's just 10 minutes in my room, skipping, dancing, stretching. Because the small effort I do when nobody is watching will build me.

If you are reading this and you have been postponing like me, let's go today. No perfect time. Just move.

I am going to exercise, are you coming?
