A Close Call

Hello friends welcome once again ☺️

its Saturday and Saturdays are known for weddings here in Lagos. Mr. Simon was all dressed and waiting for his wife to come down so they could go to the wedding. As Chairman of the day, he wanted to be there on time.

" Babe,babe, please hurry we are late he urged, tapping his feet impatiently o n the ground. "Almost done, love Mrs Simon replied just few minutes more.
His impatience grew as he pace through and fro the living room thinking of the day ahead.

Finally, his wife came down. "How do i look? She asked, beautiful he replied without even looking at her, already heading out of the door.

As they drove Mrs simon suggested a route they should follow, "babe please lets go this way instead, no babe this way is shorter and faster he said. I have a bad feeling about this route but it's fine if you want to go this way.." trust me babe i know this route very well .

Just a few minutes later their car fell into a pit dur yo the bad condition of the road. His wife's instincts proved right. Luckily passersby rushed to help and pulled them to safety. The came out unharmed luckily.

As they got to the wedding venue, Mr Simon wife took his hand and guided him through the crowd full of guest, walk this way, please she said with a smile, leading him to their seats and he gladly followed her without hesitation.

He was happy with his wife impressed that she knows the layout of the venue. As they took their seats, Mr Simon turned to his wife and said, I'm grateful we are both safe and thank you for leading the way i know better now.
