Two month ago, my boss and I once argued about his club. As for me, I am a Chelsea fan while he is a Liverpool fan. My team is at the bottom of the Premier League table, and they are struggling to come up, while his team is in the top two of the league tables battling with arsenal and Manchester City. Since we support different teams, he is always against my team, and I also try to overcome him, but he didn't agree with me.
One fateful day, we were talking about football matches, and there remained just ten games to end the Premier League for 2024. He said Liverpool is going to win the Premier League without losing any match. I laughed to the peak. I told him that Liverpool is not going to win the league and that the team will lose one or two matches before the league ends.
He was very angry. he told me that Chelsea cannot go for any European cup for the coming season. Although I knew it, I still defended my team and praised the team more than they deserved at that time.
We bragged about this for over twenty minutes, and we shall see whether Liverpool is going to win the Premier League and lose no games, and also if my team Chelsea will not go for any European cup for the coming season.
Then we stopped the argument for the day, I later won the argument even before the league end. That is when Liverpool lost to crystal palace at anfield where big team like Manchester City cannot win Liverpool, they are crushed by crystal palace.
After the match,no one expect that crystal palace can win Liverpool, I as shocked about the result, I called him and told him I have said it that Liverpool will lose a matches.
At last Liverpool didn't win the league and finally chelsea is going to European conference next season.
