Such a creep.
Kaius always thought he was the smartest boy in class, but to Lidya he was just annoying. He followed her around during break, asking silly questions and making jokes that didn’t even make sense.
One afternoon, Lidya went to the library to read quietly. Not long after, Kius showed up and sat right across from her. Instead of reading, he kept staring and tapping his pen on the table. Lidya tried to ignore him, but he leaned forward and whispered, “I know you came here because you like me.”
Lidya almost dropped her book. “What?” she asked, raising her voice.
He grinned proudly, as if he had said something clever. She quickly packed her things and left the library. Walking down the hallway, she shook her head and thought, He was such a creep.
The rest of the day, Lidya stayed far away from Kaius. She decided not to let his behavior spoil her mood. After all, the best way to deal with creeps was to laugh at them inside and keep shining.
