A raccoon was moving between the logs nimbly, he was watching the situation, calculating, thinking. The raccoon was very intelligent and wanted his plan to be foolproof. Just as he was going for his target a fox appeared. The raccoon had no choice but to abort his plan.
The fox with reddish and white fur, stood in front of the raccoon and with an intimidating look addressed the little raccoon.
"Hey, you, what are you doing there?" The fox was moving around the small mammal.
"Nothing, I was just looking at the humans' house." The raccoon was pointing with one of his fingers.
"Are you planning to get into the house of humans?». The fox made a surprised gesture.
"Yes, there is a lot of food and very delicious." The raccoon was rubbing his hands.
"But it's very dangerous, if they catch you they can kill you. Humans are very bad." The fox was sitting on his hind legs looking at the house.
"Everything has its risk, but when I succeed, I feast on the delicious meals of humans." The raccoon was purring with happiness.
"I've never been around humans. The closest I get is when I steal the chickens." The fox emitted a sound similar to laughter.
"A chicken does not compare to the delicacies that humans keep in their homes." The raccoon was running his tongue over his snout.
"Like what delicacies?" The fox was looking curiously at the raccoon.
"Something they call, cookies, bread, sweets. The meat is made in a ritual that they call cooking and it is more delicious than eating it without cooking. Look at this moment, there is a cooked chicken in the window." The raccoon was pointing at the house.
The fox squinted his eyes to see better. "That thing without feathers, without a head and without legs, is it a chicken?"
"That's right and it tastes delicious. Nothing you've ever tasted compares to such a delight." The raccoon closed his eyes while he was savoring himself.
The fox's curiosity increased as the raccoon told him all the wonders of the human world. He didn't believe the raccoon, but then the raccoon ran quickly to the garbage can and the one with the mask over his eyes arrived with a bag containing breadcrumbs.
"Try this delicacy." The raccoon was leaving a piece of bread on the ground.
The fox cautiously smelled that food that he had never seen in his life. He tasted it a little and the flavor flooded his taste buds. The fox was fascinated by this delicious food.
"Give me more, raccoon." The fox was showing his teeth.
"Calm down, friend fox." The raccoon stood on its two legs and put its hands together. "We should just hope the humans are gone and take what we want."
The raccoon was pointing at the house that looked lonely. The fox did not think twice and ran to the place without waiting for anything else. The raccoon tried to stop him, without success.
"Fox, fox, wait a minute. We must be careful that there are no humans!" cried the fox.
It was too late, the fox was in the house and rummaging through the garbage for something to eat. The thunderous uproar caused the humans to come out to see what was happening. They saw the fox and a big fuss was made, and the chaos took the moment. The humans chased away the fox with brooms and the battered animal fled into the forest.
The raccoon took advantage of the great commotion and entered the house to take out a market bag containing bread, meat and fruits. The raccoon was going out happily with his big booty to his home.
"I bless you, fox, thanks to your impertinence I had a great haul today." The raccoon was purring.
That day the raccoon had a great feast and ate like never before. The raccoon did not see the reckless fox again, who did not know how to have patience to achieve what he wanted.

Wo, the fox was so impatient that he almost lost his life in the process. But the raccoon was very calculative and went home with huge prize. A nice piece altogether.
