Reflexiones sobre la política “América primero” de Trump. / Reflections on Trump's "America First" policy. ESP./EN.

Hoy en día se lleva a cabo el foro de Davos en Europa, el día de ayer pude ver como el Secretario del Tesoro de los Estados Unidos de América, el señor Scott Bessent, se dirigía a los líderes europeos en un tono nada agradable, bastante impositivo y hasta burlesco al decirle que no cayeran en la histeria colectiva por el caso de Groenlandia.

También el dia de ayer, pude ver unos videos de noticias deportivas, donde en un partido basquetbol de la NBA que se realizaba Londres, los asistentes al partido abuchearon el himno de los EEUU cuando uno de los asistentes gritó dejen en paz a Dinamarca y Groenlandia.

En New Jersey, el popular cantante de rock Bruce Springsteen, dijo: “En una verdadera democracia, nadie debería morir por protestar” y eso hizo que la gente aplaudiera y apoyara fuertemente su posición y también hubo un ataque al himno de los Estados Unidos en Australia.

También, el día de ayer vi algunos de los discursos de Davos, vi el discurso de algunos representantes de los EE.UU, donde decían que la globalización estaba muerta y trataban de imponer su visión de Estados Unidos de América primero. Pero ninguno de esos discursos fue apoyado o fue bien recibido.

Después hablaron varios lideres europeos y el de Canadá, con una visión muy separada de las expuestas por los EE.UU. Y tanto Canadá como Europa, hablaron de buscar nuevos socios y aliados, tanto que en su discurso Ursula Von Der Leyen, habló de firmar acuerdos comerciales con India por mas de 2000 millones de dólares, justo después de terminar el foro mundial.

Finalmente, vi cómo los papeles de las potencias comerciales se cambiaron cuando China, en su intervención, defendió el libre comercio y la libertad del mercado, discurso que hasta el año pasado pertenecía al gobierno y a los representantes estadounidenses, en fin, eso es parte del mundo al revés en el que estamos viviendo.

Pero lo cierto y volviendo a la idea original de este escrito, lo que intento decir es que la política de Donald Trump de: “América primero” no esta dando los resultados que él y sus seguidores esperaban, ya que dicha política esta siendo criticada y atacada a lo interno y a lo externo de su país.

Es tan atacada esa política, que ya no solamente se está repudiando a Donald Trump, sino que también se ataca el himno estadounidense, debido a que el mismo representa a un Estado represor que ataca y humilla de igual forma a aliados de su país, como a sus contringantes políticos y comerciales.

Lo interesante de todo este proceso es ver la ceguera de Trump y de sus asesores, ya que su popularidad no cayó de golpe, sino que la misma se ha venido desdibujando en un gradiente continuo y silencioso, que le hace perder cada vez más apoyo con cada discurso, con cada burla hiriente en su narrativa, con cada una de sus decisiones y de sus acciones, dejando a cada paso un enemigo y una sombra más para el pueblo y el gobierno estadounidense.

Es triste ver, como lo que fue la gran potencia que antes defendía los derechos humanos, comerciales y políticos, aunque fuese teóricamente, ya que realmente solo defendía sus intereses, ahora, gracias a un líder patético, atorrante y grosero, se esté ganando no sólo el desprecio de los países contringantes a sus políticas y de sus pueblos, sino que ahora también se esta ganando el desprecio de sus aliados occidentales de sis líderes y de sus poblaciones.

Quedara ver que viene después de Trump, ya que la política “América primero”, realmente debería llamarse “La muerte de un imperio”. Solamente queda esperar y ver qué va a pasar.

Pero ahora, lo que yo veo y lo que de hecho estamos viendo a nivel mundial, son las medidas imperialistas basadas en el miedo al futuro, como la suma de muchos errores cometido, en fin, estamos viendo como se desmorona paso a paso un imperio gigante y como arrastra a sus aliados y seguidores en su caída.

Ojala podamos ver el fin de esta historia.

Today the Davos forum is taking place in Europe, yesterday I could see how the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States of America, Mr. Scott Bessent, addressed the European leaders in an unpleasant tone, quite tax and even burlesque by telling them not to fall into collective hysteria over the Greenland case.

Also yesterday, I was able to watch some sports news videos, where at an NBA basketball game that was taking place in London, the attendees of the game booed the anthem of the USA when one of the attendees shouted leave Denmark and Greenland alone.

In New Jersey, the popular rock singer Bruce Springsteen said, "In a true democracy, no one should die for protesting” and that made people clap and strongly support his position and there was also an attack on the US anthem in Australia.

Also, yesterday I saw some of the speeches from Davos, I saw the speech of some representatives of the USA and the United States.In the USA, where they said that globalization was dead and tried to impose their vision of America First. But none of those speeches were supported or were well received.

Then several European leaders spoke and that of Canada, with a vision very separate from those expressed by the USA and both Canada and Europe, they talked about looking for new partners and allies, so much so that in her speech Ursula Von Der Leyen, talked about signing trade agreements with India for more than 2000 million dollars, just after the end of the world forum.

Finally, I saw how the roles of the commercial powers were changed when China, in its intervention, defended free trade and the freedom of the market, a speech that until last year belonged to the government and the American representatives, in short, that is part of the upside-down world in which we are living.

But the truth and returning to the original idea of this writing, what I'm trying to say is that Donald Trump's policy of “America First” is not giving the results that he and his followers expected, since said policy is being criticized and attacked internally and externally of his country.

This policy is so attacked that not only Donald Trump is being repudiated, but the American anthem is also being attacked, because it represents a repressive state that attacks and humiliates its country's allies in the same way as its political and commercial opponents.

The interesting thing about this whole process is to see the blindness of Trump and his advisers, since his popularity did not fall all at once, but it has been blurring in a continuous and silent gradient, which makes him lose more and more support with every speech, with every hurtful mockery in his narrative, with every one of his decisions and his actions, leaving at every step an enemy and a shadow more for the American people and government.

It is sad to see, how what was the great power that previously defended human, commercial and political rights, even theoretically, since it really only defended its interests, now, thanks to a pathetic, boorish and rude leader, is earning not only the contempt of the countries opposing its policies and its peoples, but now it is also earning the contempt of its Western allies of its leaders and their populations.

It will remain to be seen what comes after Trump, since the “America First" policy should really be called “The Death of an Empire”. It remains only to wait and see what will happen.

But now, what I see and what in fact we are seeing worldwide, are the imperialist measures based on fear of the future, as the sum of many mistakes made, in short, we are seeing how a giant empire is crumbling step by step and how it drags its allies and followers in its fall.
