Las clasificaciones y sus consecuencias. / Classifications and their consequences. ESP/EN

Pront: Clasifícalo.

Una de las situaciones más incómodas que se me ha presentado es cuando me piden clasificar algo, ya sea un producto, un artefacto, una persona e inclusive hasta una película. Y el problema es que siempre hay opiniones diferentes en los gustos.

Eso implica que cuando uno hace una clasificación positiva, la gente que está de acuerdo con uno la apoya, y cuando uno hace una negativa, y la gente está en contra de esa visión, muchas veces uno es atacado.

Y por eso en ciertas ocasiones, cuando se me pide clasificar algo y no conozco a la gente que está pidiendo esa información, prefiero evitar dar opiniones, así que si me preguntan por una película, digo simplemente que no la he visto o, por un producto, muchas veces digo que no lo he usado, ya que siempre hay una persona o un grupo de personas que se aferran a generar conflictos por las cosas más sencillas.

De hecho, en un AMA que hice hace poco, mucha gente estaba hablando maravillas de un token y de una comunidad; sin embargo, mi experiencia con el token y la comunidad fue todo menos positiva, más bien me ocasionó pérdidas, y cuando me tocó opinar, les hablaba desde mi experiencia, y les decía que así como a mí me había ido mal, a mucha gente le había ido bien, razón por la cual no podía clasificar a esa comunidad y solo podía contar mi experiencia.

También me pasó en una ocasión que, por defender una actividad del gobierno, un grupo de personas hasta me insultó. Sin embargo, ellos, en su clasificación del gobierno, decían que no tenía ningún programa o beneficio real para la gente.

Yo discrepé de esa posición debido a que tanto conocidos como familiares y hasta yo mismo nos habíamos visto beneficiados de varias políticas del gobierno, y puse como ejemplo las farmacias populares.

Pero el fanatismo y el odio que había hacia el gobierno era tan grande, que salí muy mal parado de esa situación. Así que cuando alguna persona me pide que clasifique el gobierno y sus políticas, simplemente digo: “No discuto, ni me interesa el tema de la política” y así salgo de ese compromiso.

En fin, lo mejor es no clasificar, ni hacer comparaciones, nada en lugares desconocidos y menos delante de personas que uno no conozca, para así evitarse pasar un posible mal rato.

One of the most uncomfortable situations I have ever encountered is when I am asked to classify something, whether it is a product, an artifact, a person or even a movie. And the problem is that there are always different opinions on tastes.

That implies that when you make a positive classification, people who agree with you support it, and when you make a negative one, and people are against that vision, many times you are attacked.

And that's why on certain occasions, when I'm asked to classify something and I don't know the people who are asking for that information, I prefer to avoid giving opinions, so if they ask me about a movie, I simply say that I haven't seen it or, for a product, I often say that I haven't used it, since there is always a person or a group of people who cling to generate conflicts over the simplest things.

In fact, in an AMA I did recently, a lot of people were talking wonders about a token and a community; however, my experience with the token and the community was anything but positive, rather it caused me losses, and when it was my turn to give an opinion, I was talking to them from my experience, and I was telling them that just as I had gone wrong, a lot of people had done well, which is why I couldn't classify that community and I could only tell my experience.

It also happened to me on one occasion that, for defending a government activity, a group of people even insulted me. However, they, in their classification of the government, said that it had no real program or benefit for the people.

I disagreed with that position because both acquaintances and relatives and even myself had benefited from various government policies, and I gave as an example the popular pharmacies.

But the fanaticism and hatred that there was towards the government was so great, that I came out of that situation very badly. So when someone asks me to classify the government and its policies, I simply say“ "I do not discuss, nor am I interested in the issue of politics” and so I get out of that commitment.

Anyway, the best thing is not to classify, or make comparisons, anything in unknown places and less in front of people that one does not know, in order to avoid having a possible bad time.
