Two months ago my boss announced that anyone who comes to work late , will be surcharge. But it was not yet in effect. Some of my colleagues were still found coming late to work and boss kept mute as if he didn't notice all these.

Last month, that's December. When the salary was paid some people noticed a kind of deduction and were trying to understand what could be the problem.

Not quite long , boss called an emergency meeting and explained to all the reason for the deduction. He mentioned that the policy that he made some months ago was fully in effect.
